Beautiful colors of autumn in the Champagne region
After the harvest, the vines slowly enter its dormancy period in autumn.
The leaves change color from green to yellow, orange or red and then drop one after another.
The sap of the vines will go down to the roots where the reserves will be stored. The vines will then ‘rest’ during winter and the cycle begins again in the following spring.
