Champagne grape harvest season

Champagne region - grape harvest

Come join us to experience the most important moment of the year!

After a cold winter and spring, luckily the summer has been sunny and now the grapes are finally ripen. All the wineries are busy doing the preparation for the most important moment of the year : the harvest.

This year, the maturation of the grapes are quite late compared to past few years due to the climate conditions. Finally the wineries announced that the grape harvest will start in end of September at the Cote des Blancs and in the beginning of October at the Vallee de la Marne and Montagne de Reims! The harvest will last about 2 weeks depending on the wineries.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see the workers picking grapes in the vineyards, you’ll also see the press machines in action (both traditional wood press and modern press machine) and we could even try the freshly pressed grape juice! You can book your tour here.
