I know most of the time we manage to finish our bottle of Champagne. But if you do have some leftover, you can make a Champagne cake!
Here is a quick and easy Champagne cake recipe:
Serves : 4 people
Preparation time :10 minutes
Cooking time : 45 minutes
1 cup of Champagne
2 cups of flour
1 packet of baking powder
1 packet of vanilla sugar
4 egg yolks and stiffly beaten egg whites
2 cups of powdered sugar
1 cup of oil
1. Preheat your oven at 180°C/ 350°F.
2. Mix the sugar and the egg yolks. Add oil, Champagne, flour, baking power and the stiffly beaten egg whites.
3. Then, place in the oven for 45 minutes.
4. You can decorate the Champagne cake with some powdered sugar.
You can enjoy this delicious Champagne cake with tea, coffee or a glass of Champagne ! Bon appetit !
